Join young adults from across the diocese for a special retreat September 12-13 at the St. Brendan Center for Evangelization and Spirituality. Mass, Reconciliation, Adoration, Talks and Fellowship will be available throughout. Topics include our identity in Christ, how we are transformed in Him and how we are called to sanctify the world.Friday, September 12

Lodging - $30 includes 3 meals, snacks, and lodging at St. Brendan (men's dorm with 18 bunk beds in single room, women's dorm with 18 bunk beds in single room).  There is no lodging available for children.

More about our Speakers:

Claire Gallagher is a consecrated virgin for the Archdiocese of New Orleans. She has several years of experience in youth and young adult ministry, adult faith formation, women’s ministry, and training and facilitating in ministry settings. She is especially passionate about fostering a culture of genuine presence, compassionate listening, and relational ministry within the Church. Claire currently works on various projects with the Loyola Institute for Ministry at Loyola University New Orleans and teaches in the university’s Religious Studies department. Claire is also the co-host of the podcast Flourishing Sisterhood, which highlights the unique stories of religious sisters in the Gulf South. She earned her Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Notre Dame Seminary in 2018.

In her free time, Claire enjoys traveling, baking, West Coast Swing dancing, and spending time with friends and family—especially her six nieces and nephews.

Dr. Luke Arredondo serves as the Executive Director of the St. Brendan Center for Evangelization and Spirituality in the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee. He earned his M.A. in Theological Studies at Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana and his Ph.D. in Comparative Religious Ethics at Florida State University. Luke formerly served as the Director of Faith Formation in the Diocese of Tyler, Texas for 4 years. He and his wife live in Pensacola with their five children.

Chez Filippini serves as the Director of Communications as well as the Director of Marriage and Family Life for the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee. He holds a master’s degree in theological studies from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family Studies at the Catholic University of America. He and his wife, Kelly, and four children, Lucia, John Paul, Maria, and Gabriel reside in Pensacola, Florida.
