Evangelization and Mission

The Diocesan Office of Evangelization and Mission Engagement provides resources to help form families, individuals, schools and parishes in their response to the invitation to follow Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church.  The mission of the office is to share the gift of our faith with  people near and far. 

Sharing the Faith is a bi-weekly podcast that explores the beauty and power of faith in Jesus Christ, the light of the world.

Dr. Tom Neal, the Chief of Evangelization and Mission Engagement for the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee, hosts a combination of teaching and conversational episodes about what it means to evangelize.

In September 2024, the Diocesan Office of Evangelization and Mission, St. Ann’s Knights of Columbus and Ichthus Events Foundation sponsored a free public presentation featuring award-winning author Fr. Robert Spitzer, S.J., Ph.D. entitled “Is There Evidence of Life After Death Validated by Science?”

Fr. Spitzer is President of the Magis Center of Reason and Faith and also the Napa Institute. He is the author of 18 books, including the award-winning New Proofs for the Existence of God, and most recently, Science at the Doorstep to God and Science, Reason, and Faith: Discovering the Bible. Fr. Spitzer is also a physicist, philosopher, educator, and retired president of Gonzaga University. He has a weekly television show on EWTN called Father Spitzer’s Universe.
