Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account analyses, month-end and year-end closings, financial statements, and supporting schedules.

• Monitor cash balances and budget-to-actual activity while supporting effective internal controls and responsible stewardship.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant accounting experience may be considered.
• At least three years of hands-on accounting experience, including general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; SAGE Intacct or comparable system experience is strongly preferred.
• Nonprofit, church, or school accounting experience is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical ability, organization, confidentiality, and ethical judgment.
• Ability to work independently, meet recurring deadlines, communicate financial information clearly, and collaborate in a mission-focused Catholic environment.
