Parish Administrative Assistant

St. Peter Catholic Church

St. Peter Catholic Church in Mary Esther is seeking a Parish Administrative Assistant.

Job responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for the parish office by welcoming visitors, answering telephone calls, and responding to voicemail and email messages in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintaining the parish census by updating parishioner records in Instant Church Directory and Ministry Platform, including the recording of new registrations. Preparing and mailing new member welcome packets and notify the pastor of new parishioners so that personal contact may be made.
- Assisting parishioners with questions or concerns related to the Catholic Sharing Appeal (CSA) and provide administrative support as needed.
- Preparing the weekly Sunday bulletin, including compiling content, printing and placing bulletins in the church for weekend Masses, and uploading the bulletin to the parish website.
- Maintaining the annual Mass intentions calendar and issue Mass cards upon request.
- Order and maintain office, janitorial, and social supplies as needed, including copier maintenance and supplies such as paper and toner.
