The Lay Formation Institute (LFI) is an initiative of our diocese to provide quality spiritual, intellectual, and human formation to lay people. The inaugural program began in the fall of 2016 following the Church Fully Alive campaign under the direction of Bishop Gregory Parkes.
The fourth two-year cohort of the Lay Formation Institute concluded in April 2025. Throughout the latter half of 2025, diocesan leaders will be renewing the vision for the Lay Formation Institute in accord with the switch to a family catechesis model in our parishes and the restored order of the sacraments of initiation for Catholics. Please pray for a successful re-launch of the Lay Formation Institute in early 2026!
