The following list contains detailed information about the detention facilities throughout the diocese that are serviced by Catholic Prison Ministry Volunteers. Prison Ministry is an extension of each parish, and services vary according to the resources and availability of volunteers.
If you are a family member and would like to inquire about Catholic Services at these facilities, please contact the parish assigned to the prison by emailing Aida Bone at [email protected]. Please include the name of the facility you are inquiring about.
Prisons in bold are in need of eucharistic ministers and lay volunteers approved to teach the faith. To help bring the Eucharist to prison, you must be a Eucharistic minister and have the approval of your priest. Prison Ministry Supplies
Our office has limited resources to help your prison ministry. We can assist by providing bibles, prayer books, Word Among Us, rosaries and OCIA materials. Due to limited storage, we do not have all these materials in stock at all times. We appreciate your patience as we get these materials to you as soon as possible.
