Mother Clelia Morning Star High School in Pensacola, FL, is pleased to announce Mary Lambeth as its new principal for the 2024-2025 school year. Lambeth comes to Mother Clelia from Little Flower Catholic School in Pensacola where she served as vice principal. In her vast teaching experience, spanning more than two decades, Lambeth has served the diocese as a teacher, band director, director of religious education, and vice principal.
Known by her colleagues as a student advocate with a strong work ethic and solid Catholic faith, Lambeth's skills will fit well as a leader in our school community.
Lambeth holds a specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida, a Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and bachelor’s degrees in accounting and business management from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. She has also worked as a corporate controller and non-profit accountant prior to entering the field of education.
Lambeth succeeds Amanda Drews, Mother Clelia's founding leader. We are grateful for Drews’ many accomplishments during her tenure, which include opening the school, earning accreditation, graduating its first students, and opening our new Chadbourne Life Skills Center at the school. We wish her well for the future.
Lambeth officially started on July 1. She is working closely with Drews and the school’s leadership team to ensure a seamless transition. We thank the school's search committee for its diligent work in selecting our new principal, and we look forward to building upon the many successes of Mother Clelia Morning Star High School.
