Dr. Luke Arredondo Joins Diocese as Executive Director of St. Brendan Center

Bishop William A. Wack, CSC is pleased to announce the hiring of Dr. Luke Arredondo as Executive Director of the St. Brendan Center for Evangelization and Spirituality. Dr. Arredondo is a husband to Elena and father to their five children. He is the departing Director of Faith Formation for the St. Philip Institute of Catechesis and Evangelization for the Diocese of Tyler, TX. While there he was instrumental in cementing the St. Philip Institute’s status as a focal point for the faithful of East Texas to grow as well-formed disciples of Jesus. His credentials include a PhD in Religion, Ethics and Philosophy from Florida State University and a Master’s in Theological Studies from Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans.

Bishop adds, "Luke comes to us as the first Executive Director of St. Brendan Center, ready and excited to help develop that property so that it can be a center of evangelization and spirituality for our diocese and local area. He and his family will be a tremendous blessing to us."

In concert with Bishop Wack, Dr. Arredondo will be responsible for advancing the mission of the St. Brendan Center and developing the resources to support this vision. Please join us in warmly welcoming Dr. Arredondo and his family to our diocese!
