Diocese Recognized for Innovating Workforce Health

The Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee received an honorable mention in the 2025 C. Everett Koop National Health Innovation Awards for its Rejoice in Health initiative. The awards highlight organizations who "lead the way with bold, evidence-based solutions" in the area of responsibly encouraging health and well-being for employees.

The Rejoice in Health initiative focuses specifically on the well-being of diocesan clergy, tackling the challenges of aging and geographical isolation.

These awards are a specific initiative of The Health Project and are named in honor of the former United States Surgeon General C. Everett Koop.
